The Project
I gathered a team of professional voice actors to revoice a videogame, Fallout: New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas is one of my favorite games of all time and I wanted to make the game even better. My goal is to improve upon the overall voice-acting of Fallout: New Vegas and to fix three main problems with the original actors.
1. The first problem was sound-clones. Sometimes one character would voice up to 30 different characters. As an example, Yuri Lowenthal voiced Lucius, Taggart, Ike, Otho, Antony, Alexus and Tapper. Jesse Burch voiced Astor, Clanden, Motor-Runner and Nephi. In my project, each of these characters are voiced by one person for each name.
2. The second problem was the acting itself. While most of the acting in Fallout: New Vegas was well done, some of it was horrible.
As an example, here is an audio-clip of a slave who begs for your help. You can see the original voice-actor as well as the new voice-acting.

3. The third problem was lore and character appearance. As an example, some characters were supposed to be menacing and powerful, ie a leader of a gang, a mob gang leader. Some characters were intended to be twisted, i.e. a rapist, a Jet addict. I felt some character didn't quite sound right and I sought to fix this.
Requirements:
-Voice (The voice that fits the character and fits the Fallout world ie. A kid girl voice, a grizzled war veteran) Some people *have* it. I'm looking for the voice.
-Acting (Inflection, intonation, ability to move the audience)
-Mic (Sound must be crystal-clear and it must sound like it's coming from you and not from a phone or from a radio), no buzzing in the background, no pops, etc. If your acting is exceptional but your sound quality isn't clear, I will have you in the project but your voice will be an audio log.
-You can audition as many times as you'd like

Some roles are paid. If it is a paid role, a specified price will be listed for the role. I generally do a prepayment wherein I send you the final script and the lines I'd like you to act but If you feel more comfortable getting paid after your lines are submitted, I can do that as well.

O'Hanran joined the military to support his parents and his sisters. He's a Christian brought up in a Christian family. Kind heart. Humble. A realy nice guy and struggling with being a soldier in the military. He quotes and memorizes the Bible and he mentions about Jesus and God. He's scorned by his teammates as being too soft.
Race: Caucasian
Pitch: Medium.
Accent: North American or Southern accent is fine.
Personality: Kind-hearted but..preachy. We all know people like this.

Shooting guns is real scary, but I think I got the hang of it! (laughs) I still have problems with proper sight alignment and uh....learning how to stay still.
(Needs to have a Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde moment. Basically he's been drugged with a drug called Psycho)

Janet is supposed to be an extremely beautiful woman. But she's very humble, sweet and kind. She uses binoculars to scout Nellis Airforce base and she is in love with Jack (a Boomer) on the other side. In the quest, Young Hearts, the main Player is tasked with bringing the two lovebirds together.
The key emotions for Janet are anger, love, fright, thankfulness, excitement and sadness. She shows anger when you trick her or ruin her chances to be with Jack. She shows love when she meets Jack and when she talks about Jack. She shows fright when she dies (if you decieve her). She shows excitement in anticipation of meeting Jack. She shows thankfulness if you help her. She shows sadness when she is unable to see Jack due to circumstances.
I will assess three things for this character.
a) Emotions
b) Sound quality ==> Audio quality prerequisites
c) Voice (you usually either have it or you don't)

Pauline Wins is an amateur criminal. She's supposed to be a young woman who is somewhere between 21 and 32. She's supposed to be sort of a joke character in that she is someone trying to act like a criminal but it's obvious that she is very new to this.

Disregard his appearance. In my mod, he has slightly greying hair and wrinkles across his forehead and is slightly balding.
Age: 40 to 55 (prefer actors that are actually 40 to 55 rather than younger actors trying to act older)
Race: Caucasian-American
Tone: Baritone. In between deep and medium pitch. Or someone who sounds the age.
Accent: North American. No exceptions. No British accent or Southern accent or anything other than North-American.
Personality: Intelligent, a leader of the entire Brotherhood of Steel. Not cunning. A tactician. Good heart. Very wary of "outsiders". His manner of speech is polished. When hearing his voice, you should get the impression that he is articulate.
If you've played, Fallout games, you know the type of voice I'm looking for. Think..Elder of the Brotherhood of Steel but at the age of 40 to 55.
If you've never played any Fallout games, think Captain Riker in Star Trek.

What's key is three things for this character:
1. I have to believe with no doubt that your character voice could pass for 40-55 years old. If at any point I feel you sound like a younger person voicing an older person, it won't work out. I think inevitably anyone who actually *is* 40-55 years old would have a tremendous advantage. Authenticity is key. Please note that I am also posting this role on other websites as they tend to have much older actors as compared to Casting Call Club.
2. Sound quality. No exceptions.==> Audio quality prerequisites
3. Acting. You need to act sad when his comrades are dead. You need to sound angry when your orders are disobeyed. You need to show shock, thankfulness, happiness. Frankly you have to be able to act.
My apologies for the long audition but every single line in this audition lets me know if you can act the lines. It's a 22 minute script and I have to be certain you can act out these lines.
