Project Overview
About “A Bee’s Adventure:”“A Bee’s Adventure” is an animated short film about a girl named Bee who goes on an adventure with her friends to try and make peace with the other kingdoms and species. This will be uploaded onto YouTube for children’s entertainment, so it is rated PG. This project will be edited using a character creator/animation app, so it is not drawn frame by frame. The animation will be done by using key frames and green screens for the characters.This project is a short-term commitment; The script will be sent to you immediately after casting, and you will have 1-2 weeks to complete your lines. Payment will be sent after all lines are received. The pay rate is $1 per line. Please consider supporting the project! Please send all auditions in either .mp3 or .wav format.
Please do no more than 2 takes per line.
Do not edit your audio aside from normalization, compression, and noise reduction.
Please include any extra demo reels/links or extra information you feel is necessary on your audition description!
Please include your discord in your description.
Please slate your name at the beginning of your audition.
- XLR Microphone is HIGHLY preferred when auditioning, although USB mics will still be considered if treated properly.
- Payment will be sent after all lines are received via PayPal. If you do not have paypal and still choose to audition, please understand you will not receive payment.
- Communication will be through discord.
- The deadline for auditions is September 20th, at 5pm EST.
- This Project is 14+. You will not be considered if you are below 14. Please do not audition if you are below 14.

- Marigold is Bee’s sister. She is mature and motherly towards Ray and Bee, and acts as Bee’s guardian when their Father is not around. Marigold is also a very calm character, so she isn’t highly expressive.

- Voice Pitch: I do not have a specific voice pitch in mind for Marigold, as long as she sounds Mature and Caring. However, Marigold is 19, so her voice should not be high-pitched.
(Calm/Reassuring) Yeah, Dad was pretty harsh on you...I just wanted to let you know that you did a good job today, alright? Don’t let him get to you.
(Irritable) Yes, because you always make everything difficult! If I hadn’t gone, you’d have probably ended up dead! You didn’t even have a map!
(Stern) Yes, and my duty as the responsible one is to keep you two *alive.* Not sure about you, but I trust a bubbly butterfly over two spiders.

- Jack is Bee’s online friend. He’s very kind and lighthearted, and he cares a lot for his friends. Jax is Jack’s Yellow Jacket form, meaning that he is more hostile and ruthless.
- Species: Monarch Butterfly/Yellow Jacket

- Voice Pitch: Medium pitched. Very friendly and approachable. Jax’s voice is medium-low to low pitched, and he is very cold and always looking down on others.

Jack (Excited) Well, Okay then! I’ll send you my address now! I can’t wait to meet you, Bee!
Jax (Spiteful/Rude) You’re quite intelligent. Hard to believe that you and this airhead share the same blood.
