Yuuya is a gentle being with a heart of gold and a will of determination to help change the world for the better. Bright, sprightly and with a strong sense of Justice, he takes it upon himself to find out why this killing game happened, and who was behind all of it. He is decent at being a leader, but his judgments can be clouded by his emotions, which makes him quite annoying to other characters who do not enjoy their own emotions, such as Ichiro.
Despite always helping others, he doesn't take care of himself or his own problems and emotions, and sometimes can end up snapping under pressure. However - he's gotten hiding his more unfavourable emotions down to an art to keep up a nice, hopeful role model type image for everyone else to feel calmed by. Yuuya has to deal with sleep walking problems, though it is not deteriorating, nor does it happen every night, he is always careful and can sometimes sound quite tired despite his best efforts to hide it. On a rare occassion, he can wake up in different places.
After careful consideration, Yuuya's voice is most similar to the Japanese voice of Makoto Naegi. His pitch is medium/fairly high.
