It is a white dragon that lives in the gorge of the Autumn Village outskirts. It is capable of overseeing everything in the village. It appears to those it has interest in, or those it feels are worthy. Approval from the Silver Snake is required to become the chief of Autumn Village. After it becomes Kikyo's familiar, it resides in his body and uses Kikyo as its medium to perform magic. If Kikyo's energy is lacking, the Silver Snake cannot act at its optimum.
