The young version of the iconic character. He already has the greed and the wanting for more and more of the original character, but he's also torn between the memories of his old self and what he is becoming. He loves gold and has forged himself, becoming richer and richer through his own ability and his own strength, so he believes is hard work and in being self-made.  He's adventurous: his hard working may be driven not only by his love for gold, but also by him having actual fun and loving the risk. In this particular story he's much more human than seen in usual stories: he constantly feels attracted to Goldie but at the same time doesn't trust her, trying to fiercly refuse her but ultimately demonstrating that he cares about her.

Since Old Scrooge speaks very little I'll choose the same actor for Old and Young Scrooge. I'd like something similar to Alan Young and David Tennant vocal depiction, only with a younger vibe in his voice. I want someone that can pull off a good Scottish accent.

  • (to Goldie, scolding her about stealing gold to gold diggers) It's not easy, is it? And consider all the equipment and tools we miners must carry on our backs to be able to dig for that gold you steal!

  • (talking to a bear, being authorative to take him away from Goldie) Move along, buddy! This gal's with me! Grrrrr!

  • (thinking to himself, he has doubts about what he's doing to Goldie) Am I making a mistake? Making Goldie even meaner and tougher than ever...? I must help her not to become... Like me!

I really like it and I could totally see you as a younger Scrooge. Just a little quick thing: I'd be curious to hear the Scottish accent a bit more marked. Could you do that?

I can certainly do the audition slower with clearer pronunciations no problem at all :)

No it's not a problem of time, I'd just like to hear the accent a bit more marked, a bit more 'hearable', since it's such a big part in both Young and Tennant's interpretation

No problem at all I'll submit one tomorrow:)
