Samus Aran is an intergalactic bounty hunter and the main protagonist of the Metroid series. Her parents were killed by a space pirate known as Ridley. When Samus became a warrior, she sought vengeance for the death of her parents, while simultaneously saving the galaxy from the Metroid, an extremely dangerous alien species. Typically, Samus is depicted as a melancholic, heroic loner of few words.
In these comics, Samus is depicted being a no-nonsense character. She facepalms to one characterβs dad joke, complains about an item, and melancholically narrates a backstory of how Smash started.
