Voice range: Medium to High. Boyish, early teens.
Link is the main protagonist of the story. Unlike in most video game installments of The Legend of Zelda, Link speak as any other character would. This allows for his personality to really shine. Link is a selfless young man who wants to help others and bring peace to the island. However, he does have an impulsive attitude that leads him to face danger head-on. Upon learning the truth about Koholint Island, Link begins to change and develop into the hero that the island's tale has foretold.
Link quickly develop mutual, strong feelings towards Marin, an inhabitant of Koholint Island. They grow close together as time goes on. When Marin expresses interests in exploring the world, Link invites her to visit his homeland someday.

Oh, so that's it. That's what all this is about... This must be the true nature of this island. People and animals living together peacefully day after day. Now I realize that this is all for the sake of the island. There's no mistake about it...
