Mara Blackwell is a sharp-tongued, fiercely competent half-Tiefling medic with a dry sense of humor and little patience for nonsense. Independent, practical, and decidedly more comfortable in the city than the remote wilderness of Carcosa, she often hides her genuine affection for her colleagues behind sarcasm and playful complaints. Despite her grumpy exterior, Mara is deeply dependable, level-headed under pressure, and far more caring than she likes to admit.

Seeking a grounded, slightly husky or mid-low voice with strong deadpan comedic timing and natural conversational delivery. Mara should feel sarcastic and occasionally abrasive without becoming mean-spirited or perpetually angry,

The sides they read from:

  • Oh brilliant, another large empty building with no electricity and something scratching inside the walls. Is anyone else also getting a lovely feeling out of this?

  • I miss traffic. I miss noise. I miss having somewhere to get a decent coffee after six. Do you know what this town has after six? Trees. More stupid trees.

  • Alright, that's three stitches, a concussion and whatever happened to your shoulder. Is there anything else you wanna tell me or should I just keep finding things?
