Another member of Laurence's brood. Self-assured, curious and somewhat swaggering, Florentine has spent decades knowing himself to be stronger, faster and harder to kill than the mortals around him, leaving him genuinely fascinated by stories of humans successfully hunting vampires. When confronted with something frightening and unfamiliar, his instinct is to square his shoulders and press on. His demeanor is confident and conversational, but short of being a meathead. Florentine asks sincere questions and thinks about the answers. He also has a reassuring streak beneath the bravado, as when a companion loses his nerve, Florentine's response is essentially to remind him what they are and continue on.

The sides they read from:
(Genuinely baffled by the idea of mortal vampire hunters.) I still have trouble wrapping my head around the concept. We're stronger, faster, more perceptive, longer-lived and have access to aspects of life and death they couldn't even imagine. Hell, can't some of us do magic? The older ones? How the hell do you get taken down by a mortal?
(Spoony has just nervously suggested that they're going to die.) Bullshit we are. I've been living in eternal night since the seventies. I can deal with a headache and a hole in the ground. You? (A beat.) Yeah. You can.
