Gourdy Holloway

Role size: Minor
Line Count: ~5 dialogue turns not counting efforts

Character Description:
Gourdy is a friendly, enthusiastic Toon who enjoys spending time with his friends and preparing for Halloween festivities. He looks up to his fellow Halloween Toons and tends to get swept up in whatever they're doing.

Voice direction:
Gourdy should have a young, expressive voice with a friendly and innocent quality. He can be hesitant when he's unsure of what's happening, but he shouldn't sound perpetually nervous or scared.

Additional context: The animation doesn't explore Gourdy's lore, so the performance here focuses more on his innocent, playful side. In future projects, the role may require a much wider emotional range.

Recording Requirements:
Please provide clean, clear recording quality with minimal background noise, echo, and no distortion. Recordings should be delivered as 48kHz WAV files. Please do not apply any effects or processing.

Additional context for audition lines:
1. Gourdy is telling Soulvester that he believes in Connie.
2. Gourdy tries to scare someone.
3. Gourdy is asked to explain why he likes Halloween.

Feel free to include your own interpretation or additional lines if you'd like!

I also encourage you to audition for multiple roles if you can!
