Batman is Gotham City's legendary protector and the adoptive father of Jason Todd. Having dedicated his life to upholding a strict moral code, Bruce now faces the possibility that his former Robin has crossed the one line he never could.
We're looking for a deep, commanding Batman voice reminiscent of Kevin Conroy or Roger Craig Smith, although original interpretations are welcome.
This role requires two distinct sides of the character: the intimidating, controlled Dark Knight and the exhausted, caring father underneath the cowl.
Audition Lines:
Line 1 — Calm, authoritative
"Go ahead, Jim. Any casualties?"
Line 2 — Concerned, increasingly uneasy
"Barbara? What is it?"
Line 3 — Gentle, paternal, then firm
"I understand, son. I know the pain you've been through... and I'm sorry I couldn't take it away. But you know what I have to do."
