Deferred: Profit Share
Magus is a Dwarf with a mysterious past and an eye for the finer things - but only one! He is Cid's mentor and fence, and he taught the boy everything he knows about "illicit treasure acquisitions." Magus has that "non-nonsense dad" energy and will often be one of the first to call Cid's shenanigans out, but often from a place of caring as opposed to Lorraine's annoyance.
Magus is a tertiary protagonist meaning that he will show up in most episode but to a lesser degree than Cid or Lorraine.

The sides they read from:
You walked in the front door and dove for the elevator when no one was looking, didn’t you?
Couple of jerks just left me here, tied up like a stuck pig.
Oh yeah! I’m sure he’ll have it locked up tight. Locks, chains, the works!
