POPPY

Pronouns: She/Her
Character: Humanoid cat

Personality: Poppy is usually sweet, gentle, and caring, but Rusty knows exactly how to test her patience. She's clever enough to plan her own revenge pranks and has a chaotic side of her own. Despite their constant bickering, she genuinely enjoys Rusty's company and cares about him.

Voice direction: I'm looking for a voice that can express Poppy's sweetness, patience, growing frustration, sharp comedic timing, and softer emotional moments. Feel free to interpret her voice in your own way!

Voice description:
  • female adult
  • female young adult
  • female teen
The sides they read from:

  • Sweet but suspicious “Rusty? Why is there a present under the tree with my name on it that sounds like it's laughing?

  • Furious “RUSTY! I swear, if I find one more animal in my bedroom, you're sleeping outside until February!”

  • Warm and sincere “You know I remember the little things you tell me, right? Even when you're too busy being an absolute menace to notice.”
