Velvet is a character that has been belittled and pitied her entire life with people believing she is helpless and weak. She has come to Beacon to prove those who doubted her wrong and become a Huntress. Velvet has a mercenary mentality. She is willing to say and do anything to get ahead, leading her to engage in some rather underhanded tactics to endear herself to Cardin Winchester. Velvet sees Cardin as her “golden ticket” to becoming a Huntress, using his strength to dominate the other teams.
