AN JIN — Major Antagonist / Recurring Role
An Jin is a young God of Light: brilliant, beautiful, charismatic, and profoundly dangerous.
On the surface, he can sound almost angelic—youthful, clear, luminous, and composed, with the effortless authority of someone delivering divine revelation. Beneath that immaculate surface, however, there should always be the sense that something is slightly, dangerously wrong.
He is not a conventional snarling villain, and he should never sound permanently unhinged.
His madness is controlled.
Until it isn’t.
When An Jin becomes emotionally explosive, the performance should gain intensity and penetration without becoming gravelly or conventionally “evil.” Think of blinding white light rather than fire: beautiful and pure at first, then suddenly unbearable to look at.
An Jin genuinely loves his older brother. That love is not an act, and it is essential to the character. He can mock him, manipulate him, threaten entire civilizations in front of him, and still mean every tender word he says.
Ideologically, An Jin sees himself as someone willing to commit terrible acts in order to destroy an unjust system. He believes the world, its gods, and its established order are fundamentally corrupt, and that radical destruction is necessary to force civilization toward something fairer.
In that sense, he exists somewhere between antagonist, revolutionary, and morally gray hero.
For the character’s charisma and playful danger, a useful touchstone is Loki-like energy, but please do not imitate Loki or any specific actor. An Jin should feel younger, brighter, prettier, and more sincerely idealistic. His charm should make his extremism more disturbing, not less.
Vocal directionYouthful male voice, clean and distinct.
Bright rather than dark.
Charismatic rather than intimidating.
There should be an almost divine sense of order and purity in the surface delivery, with madness and emotional instability running underneath it.
During intimate moments, warmth and genuine affection are important. During manic or ideological passages, let that same beautiful voice become increasingly ecstatic, persuasive, and dangerous.
Avoid:
stereotypical villain growling
permanently manic laughter
overly deep or mature voices
roughness for the sake of sounding threatening
The danger should come from conviction.
He genuinely believes what he is saying.
Vocal / musical referencesVocal texture: Johnny Orlando; also the opening male vocal in New Hope Club’s “You And I.”
Character atmosphere: Jagwar Twin — “Happy Face”
Emotional / revolutionary energy: Robin Schulz feat. KIDDO — “All We Got”
The ideal performance should feel like a beautiful young god calmly inviting someone he loves to join him at the end of the world.

Hahahaha… What makes you think someone who lives in hell would ever bring salvation to the world?
Take my hand, brother.Let’s slaughter every last piece of trash in this world together.
My dear brother, I really ought to show you my poor corpse sometime—the one riddled with a thousand bullets, still sitting in a warehouse.
