A weary soldier. A charming bastard. A villain who thinks he’s saving the world. Those are the characters that make me want to step behind the mic.

I’m Cody Valdrick, a voice actor and narrator drawn to fantasy, dark fiction, and characters with something to lose. My approach starts with finding what matters to them—whether that comes through in a quiet confession, dry humor, or a threat delivered without raising their voice.

Outside the booth, I work in EMS and the ER. That experience shapes how I approach urgency, vulnerability, and the humor people use to get through hard moments. I also create and narrate stories, so I care about how a performance serves the writing.
