A weary soldier. A charming bastard. A villain who thinks he’s saving the world. Those are the characters that make me want to step behind the mic.
I’m Cody Valdrick, a voice actor and narrator drawn to fantasy, dark fiction, and characters with something to lose. My approach starts with finding what matters to them—whether that comes through in a quiet confession, dry humor, or a threat delivered without raising their voice.
Outside the booth, I work in EMS and the ER. That experience shapes how I approach urgency, vulnerability, and the humor people use to get through hard moments. I also create and narrate stories, so I care about how a performance serves the writing.
I’m interested in character roles, audio dramas, games, and narration. If you have a story you believe in, I’d like to hear about it.
I’m looking for paid voice acting and narration opportunities in indie games, audio dramas, animation, and storytelling projects. I am, however, open to discussion to unpaid projects if they seem fun and interesting to work on. I’m especially drawn to horror, dark fantasy, mysteries, and grounded characters with something at stake. But I'm also a fan of rediculous comedy here and there as well.
I’m interested in both character roles and narrator work, from short projects to recurring parts. I value clear direction, constructive feedback, and working with people who care about the story they’re telling.
