Mizuno You

Mizuno Yō is a first-year student at Southern Cross Academy High School and the West Shrine Maiden, sharing a deep, complex bond with her twin sister, Marino. Widely known around the school for her eccentricities—such as claiming to talk to birds and teaching "magic spells"—she radiates a bright, cheery, and quirky personality. Mizuno is kind, sweet, gentle, and somewhat naive or childish. Beneath her playful and occasionally flirtatious side (such as boldly trying to kiss the protagonist), she carries the heavy emotional burden of isolation tied to her duties as a Maiden, leaving her deeply vulnerable to sudden heartbreak and despair.

  Character Arc Notes:

Mizuno embodies the stark duality of joy and burden. While she projects innocence and cheer, her sacred role isolates her, creating profound emotional depth. Her relationship with Marino is central to her character, serving as the anchor for both her vulnerability and her inner strength.
