ABOUT THE CHARACTERS
Jason "J.D." Dean is the dark, charismatic, and deeply troubled deuteragonist of Heathers: The Musical. The mysterious new kid at Westerberg High, he instantly stands out with his black trench coat, philosophical brooding, and cynical worldview, drawing the attention of Veronica Sawyer. As an intense outsider who has moved from town to town due to his father's demolition business, J.D. harbors a profound hatred for the school's cruel social hierarchy and the bullies who run it. What begins as a rebellious romance with Veronica quickly spirals into a dangerous, chaotic crusade as his warped sense of justice transforms passive teenage angst into a literal, lethal plot to destroy the school's toxic culture. HE IS A LEAD ROLE.
