Amber is a bright, eager cockatoo and one of Duke’s performers, known for her boundless energy and stubborn determination. Though she can’t fly and has clipped wings, she refuses to let that stop her from performing. She specializes in ground-based acrobatics, using ropes, hoops, poles, and suspended apparatuses to climb, swing, tumble, and launch herself through the air with Crimson’s help. Her routines are daring, fast-paced, and occasionally a little reckless. She’s quick on her feet, quicker with her mouth, and can be a little rude when her enthusiasm gets ahead of her manners. As the comedic half of their duo, Amber brings the chaos, optimism, and occasional bad decisions to Crimson’s more tragic and serious nature.

The sides they read from:

  • “I don’t need wings to fly! Just a good grip, a little momentum, and, Crimson, you better catch me!”

  • “Okay, okay… maybe I got a little carried away. But you have to admit, it looked impressive right up until I hit the floor.”

  • "I said I can do it, Crimson! You don’t have to keep hovering over me like I’m made of glass!”
