About Andrew
Andrew is the protagonist of the story I'm writing. He is originally a 15 to 16 year old kid at the time of his regression. Going back around 10 years to prevent the same future, where he loses his brother, from occurring yet again. Story wise, I thought it'd be ideal to have two voice actors for Andrew. One for his actual speaking voice (during 5 - 6 years old at the debut and later on after the time skip 10 - 11 years old) and also one for his thinking voice, meaning that whenever he is thinking, the voice of his past self is going to be the one being heard. Now, in regards to Andrew as he is presented after the regression (Since little is known about his overall personality before the regression) he becomes a rather manipulative and bizarre kid, despairing too little too often at the thought of being incapable of changing the future. Additionally, he's more or less frightened internally, trying his best not to show it externally, though seeing as he has already witnessed many of the events that play on the story beforehand, he is rarely caught by surprise meaning that his overall default in conversations is a display of a weirdly immature kid as he's poorly attempting to not sound suspicious to everyone who isn't aware of his regression. Any additional information that might be needed can be provided, so do not hesitate to ask me in case you wonder about anything extra!
Voice Direction
External Voice : Seeing as Andrew is just a kid (around 6 after he regresses and 10 to 11 after the time skip that follows in chapter 1 (after the prologue) he'll obviously need a voice actor who's "expertise" is in essence, Children voices. Generally speaking, I don't think that Andrew should sound any special at all other than having the actual voice of a normal 6 - 11 years old kid (Side note : Since he's only 6 for the prologue, the main focus should be on adjusting for an 10 - 11 year old voice so do not give too much attention on trying to imitate a 6 year old. Still, regarding his external voice, the only thing I'd like to hear is a more (leaning towards) high pitched voice than a deep one (which will be the main asset for his internal voice. Finally, in regards to how that high pitched voice is implemented, should be relatively easy, considering that Andrew is mostly sounding like a full-of-energy kid when he's actually speaking (even though he's mostly pretending in many of the things he's saying) so in other words, a forced speech can be ideal for his speech in this case paired with some sort of emphasis on the way he's talking about things. Any additional information can be given at any time so if you have any sort of additional questions about his External Voice, feel free to ask!
Internal Voice : I feel like that it'd be ideal for Andrew's internal voice (his thoughts in other words) to be voiced in a more mature voice. When thinking, Andrew is mostly planning out things, recalling events of the past timeline and admiring things of how they've come to be this time. Unlike his external voice in which Andrew is constantly heard either throwing minor tantrums, being bizarre and rather loud, his internal voice is characterized by his seriousness that he is incapable of producing when speaking. Now, even if I do mention that I'm imagining a deeper voice in comparison to his external voice, I still feel like he should not sound very deep as to avoid his face not matching his actual internal voice. That means that the voice can be imagined as a more calm "sophisticated" one, completely opposite to what he is sounding like when he is articulating his words in real time. I'll leave the overall voice selection ambiguous, as I'm not certain 100% like I was with my very first Project, so that you Voice Actors can have the artistic freedom to do the thing you're doing, so don't be scared to try any sort of interpretations that you think might fit in either case.
One final piece of information. There's no gender requirements for this role, seeing as it is a kid that can be voiced by anyone who's capable, so feel free to voice for ANY of the two that you like or both if you're up for it!
