Salty & Tuck

Salty and Tuck are two unrelated crew members who coincidentally look and sound almost identical! Thus, one VA will be responsible for voicing both Salty and Tuck. You must audition with both their lines (include lines for Salty and Tuck in the same submission).

Total line count: 20 (for Salty) + 10 (for Tuck) = 30 lines.

SALTY

Pronunciation: “sawl-tee”

Description: Communications engineer.

Personality: Closed off and aloof, but tends to be playful and teasing once they open up. They struggle to understand their own and others feelings, which leads them to often be blunt and a bit apathetic. Determined and sometimes stubborn, once they know what they want or what needs to be done there’s no stopping them. At the end of the day, loyalty and an intense drive to protect their loved ones is what keeps them going.

Voice description: Mid 30’s age range, deep and androgynous or masculine. Usually very little emotion. They typically have a very no-nonsense and matter of fact tone. 

TUCK

Pronunciation: “Tuh-ck” like “tuck into bed”

Description: Transport supplies/engineering.

Personality: soft spoken and somewhat naive. Workaholic who means well but will quite literally work themself to death. 

Voice description: Mid 30’s age range, deep and androgynous or masculine. Soft spoken.
