However, much of Cassia’s personality comes from the pressure she puts on herself to appear perfect.

As the series continues, it becomes clear that she is much more caring and insecure than she initially lets people see.

Cassia gradually becomes a genuine member of the friend group and develops especially strong dynamics with Lyra and Finn.

Her role is more grounded than some of the supernatural characters, which makes her important for balancing the cast.
