I’m SunWish! I absolutely love creating stories and coming up with characters, scenes, dialogue, and random plot ideas. My brain is honestly making up stories 24/7, so writing is something I genuinely do for fun all the time. I read through your project description and I really liked the idea and themes you’re going for, especially the character-driven side of the story and the mystery around the storms. I ended up writing a little skit based on the information you gave about the series, just to show how I might approach the characters and tone. I’m also sending a couple of other writing samples as a little “portfolio”. One is a longer book/story I’ve written for fun, and the other is another short skit/script. They’re pretty different from each other, so I thought they’d be a good way to show the different kinds of stories and character interactions I like writing. I’d love to be considered for the writing team! :)

Im looking for people to join the writing team for this project! To help write for the story and finalize the characters and episodes with me. I have been struggling writing/finalizing the series myself so I wanted some advice from possibly other writers to hopefully improve the story. Mostly writing for the indie series itself from what I already have so far. I was planning to do something similar to a "writing room" where the writer/writers talk to eachother in real time like in a zoom call or similar situation where we bounce around ideas for the project.

I'd prefer people who actually seem interested in this type of story genre and the type of writing typical for an animated series and seem interested in the series description. I think it'd be awkward if we were in a call together and it wasn't the type of story you enjoy writing. This is a genuine indie series thats animated that I am making. I already have character designers, musicians and a lot of the "visual" development already starting. I have been the only one working on the story though. I have been struggling to find writers and anyone willing to go in zoom calls with me and fix the story a bit since I really want this story to be the best it can be, so I thought I might try CCC to see if I can find anyone here. Vibes similar to gravity falls and over the garden wall. But with a more serious tone to the series. A character driven series. The pacing of the story would be similar to Stranger Things "season one".
You do not have to be a total "professional" in story writing. I'm more looking for people who can help write story ideas and about characters and work with what I have. I'm planning for 13 episodes. I'd rather have fun coming up with silly ideas together then super "serious business" vibes some projects do. I'd want the other writers to have fun too. I also had some story notes and structures and methods we could try so I'm more looking for people who can help bring creative ideas to the project. It would be helpful to have writing experience in the past though so if you have examples that will be helpful!
