i wonder why CCC wont allow you to go past 30 secs when ive seen other auditions go up to 4 min? could it be the file size? maybe try uploading in mp3 and/or compressing the file? if you're able to figure it out, then I'd like you to resubmit your audition reading the audition line provided. if nothing works, then just read half of the audition line or at least get to a cut-off point that can fit into a 30 sec window

Well, I would but I saw that I was dismissed. I can still do it if you want! Sorry for the trouble

I dismissed because I can't accept auditions if they don't read all the provided audition line(s) at least once, as they're specifically tailored for me to understand if you're a good fit or not, so I dismissed cus I don't know if you're a good fit or not cause you didn't read the audition line, not because the audition itself was bad. that's why I'm asking for you to resubmit so that your audition is valid for reviewing (if you'd like)

thats okay, no need to apologize! tech issues can be frustrating and I understand. I just want you to be on an even playing field as everyone else and not be at an unfair disadvantage because of something that wasn't your fault. but this is no trouble at all, you're good

Name Pronunciation: No-L
Line Count: 1 (literally just the one monologue, which is the audition line)

Character Description

Although Noelle has yet to make a proper appearance in The Shadowed Prince AU, she serves as the narrator for the opening prophecy, introducing players to the world and setting the tone for the story to come.

Since her role is currently limited, we're primarily looking for a voice that captures the warmth, sincerity, and gentle nature associated with Noelle. Future appearances in the comic may expand or redefine her personality, but for now, the focus is on delivering the narration with clarity, the right emotional tone, and a touch of wonder.

Character Information
  • Gender: Female

  • Age: 16–18

  • Role Size: Minor Character (Narrator)

Voice Direction

We're looking for a medium- to high-pitched voice with a soft, warm, sincere tone.

Noelle's narration should feel calm, almost like she's telling an old fairy tale or reading from a forgotten legend. Rather than sounding dramatic or theatrical, we're looking for a natural performance that carries a sense of kindness and curiosity.  Think childlike bedtime stories with that touch of wonder.

  • (Soft and enticing voice tone) “Once upon a time… a legend was echoed throughout shadows. It was a legend of dreams. It was a legend of hope. It was a legend of dark. It was a legend of light… This… was the legend of Delta Rune. For millenia, dark and light have lived in balance, bringing peace to the world. But this harmony was shattered… and a terrible calamity froze the land. The sky ran black with terror, and the land started cracking with fear. Then, her heart pausing… The earth held her final breath. Soon, shining with hope… Three heroes will appear at world’s edge. A human, A monster, And a prince from the dark. Only they can seal the fountain and banish the angel’s heaven. Only then, will balance be restored, and the world saved from destruction. Today, the waterfall of lightness, the cascade that gave the land clarity, rains down at the center of the kingdom. The dark fountains surround the horizon… And with them, the balance of light and dark fades.”
