KNUCKLES THE ECHIDNA

Knuckles should sound strong, blunt, confident, and naturally intimidating, with the rougher attitude of his Sonic Adventure 2 portrayal. He can be hot headed and confrontational, but he should never sound stupid or overly comedic.

This version of Knuckles needs strong emotional range. The role includes anger, frustration, sarcasm, grief, defensiveness, and moments where his own past and losses come to the surface.

Tone: action drama with emotional and character driven elements. Knuckles should feel tough and aggressive, but still human enough for the audience to understand where that anger is coming from.
