Nikolai Lobanov-Rostovsky is an intelligent and calculating contestant who approaches the Trials like a puzzle. Calm and analytical, Nikolai rarely makes a decision without considering every possible outcome. His serious demeanor can make him seem distant, but he is far more compassionate than he initially lets on. As he grows closer to the other contestants, Nikolai begins to discover that not everything in Wonderland can be solved through logic alone. Nikolai also needs a Russian accent and will sometimes speak Russian.

The sides they read from:

  • “Wait, what are these, ‘Trials’, by your so-called, ‘Redcourt'?”

  • (Panic) “Вот дерьмо (Vot der’mo)! Run!”

  • “I suggest we split up. Yell if you find that exit. Sounds like a perfect plan to me.”
