Hello! My name is Rye Hanchey, Cat, or CatWarrior77. My pronouns are he/they, and I am 21+.
Discord - CatWarrior77 (if needed)
I started voice-acting in January 2020 from YouTube and Discord casting calls; it so far has been a hobby that I enjoy, and I am looking to start auditioning on Casting Call Club as well. My playlists of my older auditions are available on my YouTube channel (I have linked the one that is in order of newest to oldest below!).
I tend to audition in batches around my work schedule so may be inactive in terms of auditioning on here off and on. I still check notifications here and on Discord almost daily though.
As far as my voice goes:
-I am transmasc (though I identify as nonbinary)! While my voice still sits naturally in a mid-low feminine range that shows mostly when I answer phone calls (/lh), I also actively audition for masculine and androgynous roles to practice keeping my voice where it feels most comfortable. From my sample reel, the voices I prefer using are the high raspy one or the slightly deeper one, as those are the ones I am more comfortable doing. I can do variations of all three if needed and am very much open to experimenting with my voice provided that I am not doing impressions of an existing character or another voice actor!
-I come from the West Coast of the United States.
-I have no problem cursing or with raunchy humor--however, I will not use ANY slurs regardless of context.
-I will not audition for characters who are directly involved in explicit NSFW content, as I am not comfortable voicing such.
-I am also not comfortable auditioning for projects that use Gen AI in any way.
-Please note that I can yell/cry/shout on occasion, but I can't scream due to both physical limitation and living situation. Sorry!
