Jonathan has endured many sacrifices as a Morris -- first the loss of his father, then the battle with Dracula, and finally the raising of a Belmont descendant. Despite this, Jonathan still keeps a sharp tongue, and has turned the defiance of his youth into a deadly weapon -- take Jonathan's boasting as a joke, and you're probably not escaping a fight with him alive.
Still, age has taught him when to be serious. Even though his demeanor may feel unprofessional, his wisdom vastly overshadows that of most hunters alive.
Voice note: Portrait of Ruin's Jonathan is to be the baseline, but only that. A baseline. We're dealing with the same man, only decades older and wiser. Also, due to the meticulous upkeep of his physical state and fitness, Jonathan does not necessarily have to sound like a decrepit old codger, despite being in his seventies.
