King Rosebud ($5/hr)

King Rosebud should have a warm, deep, gentle, mature voice with a naturally reassuring quality that makes him sound like a genuinely kind king. He should speak confidently and comfortably when addressing his subjects, but become noticeably more hesitant, nervous, and overly accommodating whenever Penelope is involved. His fear should be played more comedically than dramatically; he might stumble over his words, nervously laugh, lower his voice, or desperately search for a way to phrase something without upsetting her. He should never sound incompetent or unintelligent, he knows exactly what Penelope is like and often knows when she's being unreasonable, but simply doesn't have the courage to confront her.
