Ralsei has spent his entire life hidden within the Deepest Dark. Aside from Seam, he has had little to no contact with others, leaving him lonely despite believing his isolation is necessary for his own safety. Although he respects Seam and follows their wishes without question, he has always dreamed of making friends and seeing the world beyond his home.

When he finally ventures outside in search of Seam, everything is new and exciting. He quickly falls in love with the Dark World, fascinated by its beauty and unable to understand why so many fear the darkness. His natural kindness allows him to befriend Lancer almost immediately, while his encounters with the Lightner Warriors challenge everything he thought he knew.

Ralsei is especially drawn to Kris, whose passion for music and playful personality intrigue him. He develops a close bond with them, though he struggles to understand Susie's guarded and cynical nature. Curious by heart, he constantly seeks answers and hopes that, in time, even Susie may open up to him.

• Line three: Ralsei is in a fetal position having a mental breakdown in front of Seam, his guardian, who is trying to comfort him. The room he’s in is filled with broken objects and destruction, caused by Ralsei in a fit of rage (pairs with Seam’s third audition line)
