Sir Cedric is an obvious traitor amongst the Knights. From getting himself declared commander of the kings guard... to then appointing peasants as guards, to being very generous to the local bandits... everything he does is questionable.
I envisage him as a voice that sounds like an evil mastermind - he's not subtle to the audience!
Around 70 lines. Likely to be a repeat character if further episodes are made.
"My liege! Make peasants into guards. It's cheaper, boosts morale, and they’re… enthusiastic."
(Muttering to self) “Step one: Distraction. Step two: Dragon eats everyone. Step three: Throne.”
“My rule—I mean leadership—will be firm but fair!”
