The news reporter is the classic parody character, making fun of the seriousness of news reporters in this day and age. And the reporter has a mix of a serious and sardonic tone. He doesn't have much personality, outside of that but that's part of the fun.
The press reporters are true to the anime, they ask Himeko the same questions for the most part. But they also have an added rudeness in their own tones to make them extra humorous!
Ms.Himeko, how was your trip to Space?
And on today's cliched news, this rich scientist lady Himeko is going on a Lunar Mission... Who would've thought?
