voice type: medium-high, naturally sweet and somewhat cute tone (reminder: I'm looking for realistic performances, she should not sound like an anime character). She is incredibly headstrong and quite stubborn. However, she's not all butterflies and rainbows, as she gets easily frustrated when Leo doesn't meet her level of dedication. She is very emotionally driven, easily brought to tears and quick to defend her principles.
This role requires yelling and crying. There are two separate scenes where Audrey throws up - please ensure you are comfortable with creating sounds like coughing/gagging before auditioning.
[numb, completely shattered] It's just another day now.. December 25th, that's it. There's nothing to look forward to anymore. Sammy will never have Christmas again.. As long as he's in our lives, none of us will. I can't ignore it, Victoria. Sammy is the center of our world now. He's the star on the tree. No matter what we do, we can't abandon him.
[furious, between coughs and sobs] You don't understand.. You've never suffered a day in your life! You don't just get sad for a while and then all of a sudden life gets better and better until finally you're ok and your pain just turns into a bad memory. That's not.. that's just not how it works. When have you ever suffered, Leo? Tell me!
I make you feel like a terrible person..? I- I'm not trying to make you feel that way. You just make me so upset sometimes, like today.. letting Sammy wander off. You can't- you just can't do that. [sighs] I don't think you're a bad friend, Leo, you're just.. not a very good one.
