Note: I know the mic blows out a bit, especially during the crying takes. I was more focused on conveying the emotion in the takes I did, and I thought these takes did a good job of that. I'm no audio engineer, but if considered for the role I would take feedback and do my own research to make sure that doesn't happen in future recordings. voice type: medium-low, slightly gravelly, perpetually exhausted tone. Wears a shell of apathy and pessimism, with a sarcastic, dry sense of humor. He has moments of soft, almost uncharacteristic vulnerability. His emotional complexity is oscillating, as his moments of anger and sadness are like something has snapped entirely within him, when the nonchalant, 'whatever' attitude he puts on starts to slip. He's quick to snap back a defensive comment.

    This role requires yelling, crying, and cursing.

You need to find the courage to do what scares you or nothing will get better. Your life completely changed last year, for the worst. I can't change what happened. But instead of next Christmas being the same as this one, maybe your life can change again but for the better this time.
