Rosa Belmonte, 16

Kind, easy going, and eager to try new things, Rosa can get along with anyone. When she is exploring with Marco (her older brother) and friends, Rosa feels that she can truly open up and speak her mind.

Rosa and Marco's bond is strong. They bicker as siblings often do, but their adventures together (chasing specters she's more skeptical of than her brother is) have led them to become close friends.

Rosa often feels the need to prove herself - a need fed by her proximity to her brother and his friends.

  • (Calm, intro narration v/o)Legend says that said dolls keep the souls of the dead at rest. Every year, men and women from all over the world try to find this island for a paranormal thrill. Thing is, they’ll fall for every tourist trap and never even get close.

    But not me, and certainly not my brother Marco...well, at least not anymore. We’ve been exploring every haunted place in Mexico City since we were just kids - but tonight is the big one. We’re going to The Island, and we’re going to see just what secrets we can find.

  • (Playful, sarcastic, bantering)I don’t know, Marco - the Doll Island? Maybe we’ll find some dolls. Or even a few action figures, if we’re lucky.

  • (terrified)What the hell Marco!? I thought you said this path was fine!
