Hope K

My Name is Hope K and I’m a 31 year old Non-binary Scottish VA, my pronouns are they/them.

Please find attached my audition, I’ve done 2/3 takes of the lines in AABBCC format, I'm happy to try other accents if you think they would fit (my natural accent is Scottish and I can do an English accent as well, I'm happy to forward my demo reel if you like).

I'm a fan of your works and after starting my own VA journey with the lovely people in The Attic Monologues (Playing Maisie who is a barista coincidentally) I'd love to help create something with your team. I'd be happy to be considered for any other roles you think I would suit.

My current setup is a Blue Snowball iCE mic with no interface, DAW is Audacity and I do have a pop filter and some acoustic foam padding for soundproofing which has also been used to make a mic box.

Thank you for the opportunity to audition!

The sides they read from:
  • (energetic) “Whoa! (laugh) That's huge, I've never seen anything like it. That's got to be the biggest rift ever, right?”

  • (half-joking) “The government is always after our necks. They hate anyone knowing the truth we’re putting out there.”

  • (curious, then resigned) “What were the readings, Blake? We couldn’t hear you at all. (Blake didn’t get clear readings) So you don’t know.”
