Akira is a “slug” with origins that she would rather conceal. Given that she is actually a parasite, she is constantly hungry and in need of a host, so she devised a plan to create an endless supply of food. She founded a small village for travelers arriving in Alcrest so she could feed from them inconspicuously. Over time, she grows to care about the village and its inhabitants. She is motherly and warm, inviting everyone who is in need of a home… Especially if you're nutritious!
