Shiro, better known as Blueberry, is a small juvenile dragon originating from the mountainous outskirts of Alcrest. After losing his family, he is found and adopted by Asher. Blueberry and Asher form a father-son bond throughout the story, serving as the first sign of Asher’s compassion. Young, kindhearted and naive, he is easily persuaded by a fun game or tasty treat. His underdeveloped wings are a sensitive talking point for him, so it may be best not to mention it…

Voice notes: High-range, childlike, squeaky. Willing to see interpretations. The voice does not need to be childlike, can sound more teenage/pubescent. Age range not definitive. Anywhere from 7 to 15. 

• Sora from Kingdom Hearts. The first game is the most ideal reference, though you could also use later entries in the series as references.

• Timber Spruce from My Little Pony: Equestria Girls. Use this if you want to take the teenager approach to the character.

    “Asher, I’m hungry! When are we getting food?” (whining tone)

    “I’m a good hunter! Send me to hunt! Pleaaaase!”    

    “You don’t have to go and take over the castle! This house is already super nice”

    “Boo! (laughing) Did I scare you?! … Oh, I didn’t? Aw man…”    

    “I can fly, even with my small wings! Just watch!”
