Faust for Fortune Teller
Male, older adult. He is someone with a smooth and calm voice. He runs a fortune telling service where he can predict and tell people details regarding their deaths — when and how. He always talks to his clients with a kind voice, but whenever things go wrong he starts to panic (which he isn’t the best at concealing) and you can hear the dire worry in his voice, leading to panic in others.

(calmly, talking into a tape recorder) Hello, dear heart. Today is the 24th of August, 2012,and I am talking to you at a quite unusual hour because well… I feel weary today. For no particular reason I can pinpoint yet, today feels… strange. Stranger than usual, that is. The air… feels… sickly sweet. Like the smell of rotten fruit swearling the air. I keep seeing an image of a tree, caving under the pressure of its years, the bark decaying while the resin oozes down it, as if the last tears of a corpse.
(worried but reassuringly) Oh you poor thing! you’re completely soaked! Please, come in. Shut the door after you. Don’t want any spirits getting out. (laughs)
(panicked) No… I need more time… I’m not ready… I shouldn’t be here.
