Mikey Van Lee [SINGING]

NOTE: MIKEY HAS TWO SPOTS YOU CAN AUDITION FOR - SPEAKING AND SINGING

Actors able to do both will have priority in this role, however you can still audition if not.

VOICE NOTES - Confident, can easily be condescending. Still, there maybe is a hint of boyishness beyond the glitz, glamor, and hairspray- a glimpse of humble origins left behind for the stage. Mikey's voice is his greatest gift, and he is very purposeful with his speech and delivery. Can ad-lib vocalizations, or whatever you feel is fitting. Full image reference

INSPO - Fall Out Boy (singing inspiration, example of range)

INSPO - Alice Cooper - Feed My Frankenstein (singing inspiration, example of genre)

SONG AUDITION - Provide a short clip of in-character singing as Mikey, of one verse from Kiss' Heaven's on Fire. Lyrics: https://genius.com/Kiss-heavens-on-fire-lyrics (Feel free to provide/email reels with more singing examples, if possible!)
Auditions should have very little to no additional editing.
