To the Will of the People: A Les Misérables Audio Drama (OLD #1)
Xerox-candybar for Bahorel
Bahorel is described as a "good-natured mortal, who kept bad company." He embodies the more substantive heroic virtues such as bravery and loyalty but is misguided in his pursuits of earthly pleasures. He's unwaveringly prodigal in his spending, lavishes his natural connection with women, and stands ready to commit to physical solutions to problems. Although he does not carry the same fascination with proper education as the others (he indefinitely avoids the completion of his law degree), he is no fool and understands the purity of good morals, and has a willingness to support them fiercely.
Ladies and gentlemen, I must apologize on behalf of this man for making such a commotion. You see, however, it is wholly necessary that you are brought into the fray at this moment, for he has committed a deplorable act far worse than a minor disruption of your meals.
Oh, ho! So close! No, really! That was quite the attempt. In fact, I can feel the phantom sting on my jaw here. Now, where was I?
(tenderly) Mademoiselle, I know that you have already suffered enough, but could I ask that you confirm, for me, the degeneracy of this man?
