The Great Deku Tree is the guardian deity of the Lost Woods, and protector of the Koroks. He is also the watcher of the legendary blade, the Master Sword, that which is placed before him.
He is a soft spoken, gentle soul who speaks calm and warmly. Very wise and elderly, but not too breathy.
(curious) Who is that...? Did I doze off again? (intrigued) Hrm? Well, well... it's you.
(warmly) After 100 years, I'd nearly given up hope on seeing you again. (slight tease) Even my patience has limits, you know.
(inspecting) That look on your face tells me that you have no recollection of me, however.
