Course Description: This course provides principles, experiences, and foundations of voice for the stage; exploring and understanding the anatomy of the vocal mechanism; relaxation exercises used to release tension and free the voice; a detailed warm up; as well as vocal and breath development; and textual exploration exercises constructed by Kristin Linklater, Patsy Rodneburg, and Cicely Berry. May not be repeated. My understanding: DRAMA-022-0427 is a 3-unit course titled Principles of Voice for Acting. The course teaches students how to use your voice safely and effectively on stage.
