Someone who knows how to make instrumentals for vocals and make some lyrics and knows how to make it creative, polished, and someone who can use different genres and tell a story with the songs. And someone who can understand the character's emotions, motivations, and feelings.

Is gentle and kind, decently good at making friends, but is usually a hermit in his house working on artwork. Has a silly side but only closest friends see it, has a cynical/dry sense of humor and can be witty at times. Addison is introverted with a subtle hint of narcissism and arrogance. However, his friendship with Damian and Sahara and their outward energy and enthusiasm began to slowly counteract his introverted nature.

His experiences at Xirxine may have led him to develop a few quirks: He becomes immediately violent if somebody he's not familiar with touches him, even in good faith, though he doesn't seem to mind being touched by his friends. It's possible that his other personality, Adder, was also a byproduct of these experiments.

Autumn is selfless and benevolent towards others. He often tries to help the more fragile students from the more overbearing bullies like Rusty. Although outwardly he appears mature and rational, in reality he is extremely insecure, suffering from low self-esteem. Autumn continues to seek recognition and thanks from others for a little help from him, showing that he needs the appreciation of others.[1] Autumn is also very sensitive and short-tempered: in the webcomic, when Rusty teases him about the little antlers, Autumn explodes in anger and violently scolds him. In Bad Luck Jack, Autumn finds it very funny how Jack teases Rusty because he has no friends.

A genius fox that has been childhood friends with Sam and when he is with strangers he is a little passive aggressive and tense, but whenever he is with his friends or Sam, he becomes very relaxed and he stops being tense. He is very self conscious and he seeks acknowledgement and support from others for his efforts in protecting the E! District while being a secret hero using his tech to make up for him not having any abilities.

Age: 15

The main character of the first season, Blake is very kind, warm, and someone who puts everyone first before himself. He also suffers from a sort of DID or split personality disorder. He wears devices in his ears to help with his hearing since his ears are really sensitive. They were made by #### and they allow him to control how much he can hear and it even lets him hear like everyone else, at a normal decibel instead of super hearing.

Age: 13

Damian is at his core a good-hearted teenager whose positive qualities clash with his demonic nature. He has an evil side that he tries to keep under control, but which may show itself in the heat of the moment. Jack, who stood up to Damian for the sake of Zill, as well as Leeson who provoked the demon; They were both reminded of Damian's dark side. Though he isn't as evil as his parents would like him to be, and is very laid back.

Although he may sometimes go too far, Damian's behavior normally ranges between that of a "playful rascal" and a "devious brat". He enjoys messing with people, as well as making them laugh. Damian also likes messing with people, As shown in the short "Bad Luck Jack" and shown when he was messing with Major Styx.

When drunk, Damian's entire demeanor changes, becoming much more blunt and seemingly malicious much as revealing his tentacles. This presumably is due to him losing control over himself, making his demonic aspects more outwardly apparent.

Age: 16

Jack is soft spoken and very friendly to most people. His curse has made him extremely paranoid of his surroundings and anxious about being in presence of others, fearing he will indirectly hurt them; however, this empathetic behavior of trying to spare others from sharing the consequences of his curse ultimately leave him feeling lonely and in need of companionship.

Because of his immortality, he has become disinterested in injuries he suffers - he is fazed by neither cuts nor even dismemberment.

Jack's relationship with his family is complicated and most of his reactions seen are directed towards his cousin Damian who he goes to school with. In his therapy session, he tells Cameron that he feels he can't talk to his family due to them reminding him of his curse. He also would regularly sneak out of the palace during his visits to hell which is where he met Jillian. He met with her on many occasions, eventually encouraging her to join the royal guard of the palace which she managed to get into. Despite his thoughts that this would lead to them seeing each other more he wound up seeing her less due to her duties and he noticed her getting close to a fellow guard. Just like with Zill and Kayla though, he didn't feel angry or jealous and was happy they found someone special though he admits he does feel a bit more lonely because of it.

As Jack told Cameron, he didn't like the fact that people turned away from him for fear of being hurt by the curse. Jack despised even more those who thought his suffering was actually an attempt to draw attention to himself. Jack especially hated Rusty for the constant bullying that accompanied him from childhood to adolescence. In the ending of "Bad Luck Jack", Jack finally gets his revenge on Rusty by teasing him that he didn't have any friends.

Age: 18

Kayla is quite kind and friendly to everyone, easily making her one of the more popular students in school. She enjoys romantic things as seen when she thinks that Zill is planning something lovely for their anniversary. The only student in the school she intentionally avoids is Damian, whose demonic appearance and supernatural abilities terrify her. In the short, she does not show as much fear of him, but still appears uncomfortable in his presence.

When conflicts arise, she first tries to resolve them peacefully. This pacifist part of her nature was shown when she stopped Zill, who was at the moment angry because of Rusty's rude behavior, from fighting him. Her patience has limits however, as was seen when Rusty threatened to beat her up during the very same encounter. In response, she threw a powerful punch at Rusty, knocking him out with a single blow.

Kayla can be cold and unforgiving when angered. A single forgotten anniversary was all it took for her to start giving Zill the silent treatment and turn hostile towards him, all this despite his heartfelt apologies(although according to her and Jack it would pass). Still, she is not merciless and even though angry, she acted without hesitation to save him from a duo of bloodthirsty vampires. This desire to protect extends to all her friends as in the short Bad Luck Jack, when Zill mentions something bad might happen to Jack she pulls out a switchblade and says they need to find him fast.

Rusty is belligerent yet thin-skinned. He takes pleasure in mocking others, but getting insulted in turn can frustrate and make him feel humiliated to the point he leaves his victim altogether. He is not that bright, especially when compared with others, but he does have moments of deep thought[2] and usually makes up for things with his street smarts[3]. His insensitive and abrasive nature is only amplified by bigoted nicknames he likes to give others, like "queer"[4] for Addison or “piñata boy” for Zill. Though is largely due to his own issues accepting his sexuality, amongst many of his insecurities which he choose to reflect onto others, or to mock the aspects of other students that he finds in himself. Despite everything though, he's fiercely loyal to those he cares for, and is determined even in the toughest of times.

The brother of Blake, and he is the leader of The Weapon Monarchs. Even though he is a strong and powerful leader who rules 100 demon legions, he is still a calm and kind person since even though he is a demon he has the soul of an angel and whenever he is with his brother he becomes even more relaxed, caring, and protective. He is also known as one of the strongest beings in safe haven, and he protected Safe haven with his group and friends. Whenever he is fighting monsters he sometimes gets bored since no one really gives him that much of a challenge. The only time he gets challenged is whenever he is sparring with his group.

Age: 16

Spam's personality varies between the comics, shorts, and the old canon. Essentially, Spam is a cheerful, funny, and kind-hearted young fox, always willing to help his friends. His eccentric personality makes him strange and annoying to some. He has a great passion for music and songwriting, and even writes songs for the Main Five.

Due to the interruption of the comics, Spam appears very little compared to the other main characters. In the original comics, Spam just surreptitiously licks people like Cameron and Vanexa. Also, Spam didn't talk much.

In the short film Bad Luck Jack, he is shown to have an interest in writing music and especially lyrics having wrote or co-wrote two of the songs in the short. He is also shown to be easily distracted as he stops fighting a monster with the group to sing about a bumblebee he saw. Despite this, he is shown to care a lot about his friends even willing to fight monsters to help them. One of the few times, Spam doesn't smile is when he thinks about his friends in pain and seeing them get hurt.

In the Silhouette video, Spam displays darker, sadder feelings. Despite his happiness and friendships, he suffers from loneliness and feels misunderstood. It's been suggested that part of Spam's melancholy may stem from the death of his father, which traumatized him when he was young. It's unknown whether his friends are aware of Spam's true feelings, though it's possible he's hiding them.

In the old canon, Spam is still a joyful fox, but less intelligent and more naughty. In an old comic, Vanexa tried to seriously hurt Spam after he kept annoying her. In another comic, Spam frantically asks Mrs. Cide if he is allowed to take pills. After, Spam loses his mind over the sound of the school bell.

Graceful and quiet, Vanexa usually doesn't usually express much emotion unless she's forced to.[4] She has a cold and apathetic attitude towards everyone around her. Vanexa spends most of her time reading a book regardless of the situation. When she speaks (with or without prompting) she tends to be quite short and to the point. She prefers to be blunt, like when she tells Kayla that she doesn't understand anything she says because of her Australian slang or when she criticizes Spam for his constant need to write songs in Bad Luck Jack.

Due to her reserved nature, Vanexa doesn't seem to be very close to her friends. For example, Kayla often turns to her to discuss personal matters, but it is implied that Vanexa doesn't care.[5] However, she does try to be friendly when she tells Cameron to enjoy his stay and helps put Jack back together in Bad Luck Jack. Vanexa's difficulty integrating with others likely stems from her difficulty understanding emotions.[6] In particular, Vanexa feels the most emotionally close to Spam, who ironically finds her annoying due to his opposite personality. Vanexa's closeness to Spam could be due to the fact that, unlike her other friends, he talks to her more and encourages her to express her feelings.

Zill has a rather laid back personality but can be quick to anger when someone harasses his friends. He also is shown to be selfless, willing to put himself between a stranger who wanted to fight and a vampire queen. In the short Bad Luck Jack, he puts himself between all sorts of dangers to ensure Jack doesn't get hurt.

Zill is a loving boyfriend to Kayla, though he can be forgetful as he forgot about their three year anniversary and was instead planning to sing their favorite song at the talent show. He does show awareness of his screw up, however, and is crushed by it, fearing but understanding why the two of them might be over.

Alanzo is very upbeat and cheerful character. Often acts silly. Cares a lot about his closest friend and relatives. Is very eccentric, and light-hearted. Despite his boundless sense of humor, his manner tends to come off as strange and abnormal to others.

Cam is kind, friendly, and a little shy. When she first arrived in Safe Haven, Cameron wasn't expecting a inter-species world and instantly started freaking out. After getting to know the inhabitants more, Cameron started feeling comfortable there even thanking Jack for not being scary during her session with him. Cameron is also very curious about Zill and other inhabitants.

Carrie's fierceness in combat is matched only by her affection towards most creatures, both within Safe Haven and outside of it. She seems to like to hunt and mount the skulls of dangerous creatures she killed for her animal control job. Though she may be welcoming, if a bit abrasive, and is often ready to help others in more ways than one, those that get on her bad side tend to end up as subjects of her less-than-subtle comments.

Though he may sometimes lose his grip on reality, Chastopher is a helpful individual who is otherwise ready to help and take care of the sick and injured.

Fabian's a flirty fox, and he is as charming as he is big-hearted. His kindness could clearly be seen in the way he comforted anxious Cameron, who at the time was still shaken by her new environment.

His appearance may be welcoming, but Fabian is capable of great courage. During an attack on ZPA, he engaged Simon in a fight to protect the students, even though Simon has already defeated one of staff members by that point.

Gustav is a snobbish individual that can be either very charming or very toxic depending on the circumstances. He does not tolerate mediocrity, and eagerly interrupted Mackenzie's performance in a rude way. His disdain extends to everyone that does not match his very high standards

Jackie is bright, strong and energetic and passionate about Theater Arts and helping her friends out. She cares deeply about her students and fellow co workers.

"Keiko is the ditzy and mysterious creature that serves as ZPA’s head doctor. She is rarely seen, only emerging from her office when a student has been seriously injured. All other health matters are handled by the questionably sane nurse…and Willis. Students are unsure who to fear most, and often gossip about the origin of this strange doctor."

Keiko is the head doctor who is stationed at the ZPA Health Room.

Latika Chokshi is Addison's adopted mother and the Zoo Phoenix Academy art instructor.

Laid-back and upbeat most of the time, Malcom is one of the more "relaxed" instructors at ZPA. Although he is a teacher, his responsibilities sometimes take a backseat to mischief he gets up to with the academy's students.

Ms. Cide is a cranky, strict, and mean. It's shown quite clearly that she isn't favored by students due to her strictness.

An outright optimist, Nathan sees the world through rose-tinted glasses despite all the hardships he faces. His happy-go-lucky, super-dee-duper plucky outlook on life carries him onward and drives his ambition. He, like Gustav, is also an alumni of Z.P. Academy and former student of Alanzo's dance class. He often visits the school to help out, as well as maintaining various side-jobs in hopes to eventually break into the starlight.

He can be described as a "chatterbox" whose ramblings annoy most save few members of ZPA's staff, such as Malcom. He was the only one tricked by Cameron's bad attempt at misdirection, which proves he is at least a little bit naive.

Principal Winston is a cuttlefish and the principal of Zoo Phoenix Academy. He was noted as being harmless by Zechariah.

She is a very quiet person and most of the time likes to keep to herself, you can see her in the library reading a book. She is one of the few humans who can do magic and because of that other people find her interesting and mysterious. Sahara sometimes goes to her for advice about advance types of magic, if you think about it they're pretty much master and student, although she does warn Sahara about magics that dwell in the darker sections of the magical books in the library. Her favorite color is red, she is a fan of violin based music and she especially loves romance films and novels.

Zechariah is one of the more soft spoken members of the ZPA staff, rarely (if ever) raising his voice. He is rather caring, not stopping Cameron from crying into his chest and leading her to the roof so she can see the Fish of Peace. He always has his wits about him and rarely loses his calm, even in the most stressful situations. Though he may be kind and caring, he is stern with unruly students, and intolerant of anything and anyone that endangers Safe Haven and its inhabitants. His perpetual calmness and the air of authority about him go well with his dry sense of humor.
