When she comes to, she finds herself, her friend Joe, and 9 other people trapped in a mysterious place. Placed in life-and-death situations, they must come to an agreement about what they should do - and who should die.
Although sometimes they can have some fun, too.

My name is Echo. My friend Tsunanami and I both fell in love with Kimi Ga Shine/Your Turn to Die ourselves. Together, we've decided to make a dubbing group dedicated to comic dubs, game clips, and other things!
There is one key rule you need to follow.
You need to be respectful to each other.
I expect everybody to respect everybody who is cast, and who isn't cast. If I see anybody being rude or disrespectful to those who are cast/aren't cast, you will receive a strike.
What's a strike?
We have a 5 strike system. Strike 1 is a warning, and Strike 5 is a permanent ban.
Roles:
Sara Chidouin has been pre-cast due how popular the character is. Nao Egokoro has also been cast. Understudy roles will be available for these two.
Understudies? But, they're never used!
We have a solution. If you are one of the main people cast, and you cannot perform lines before a deadline, let me know and I'll have the understudy voice the part. Understudies will be asked voice background characters.
Okay, will you be casting before the deadline?
It's a very small chance we'll be doing it. If your voice is perfect for the part, you will be. Don't bet on anyone being cast before the deadline, though.
How about double casting?
'Lead' roles, such as Sou Hiyori, and Keiji Shinogi will most likely not have double cast VAs. However, if your character is 'supporting,' which every other character will be, you will have a chance.
I'm a girl, and I want to voice <Male character>.
Girls can audition for guys, and vice versa. As long as it fits the character, you're all good!

Sara Chidouin is the protagonist of Kimi Ga Shine/Your Turn To Die. We're introduced to her after the shadowy outline of Sou Hiyori talks and gives the player a tutorial about majority votes and how the game will work. Sara Chidouin has already been cast. Please check the part of the project description about understudies.
For Sara, I imagine a smooth, medium voice. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
Using a Danganronpa character as refrence, perhaps a voice similar to Kaede Akamatsu.
(Calm) "The campus pond. There's a rumor that if you look into it at midnight, your reflection will talk to you... Could be a great thing to a loner."
(Neutral) "Jou Tazuna, or rather, Joe. My classmate at school. We often find ourselves together."
(Neutral) "In the center, there's a discussion happening centered around a single man."
(Neutral, going over information) "Finally, my head was starting to clear. There are 11 people in here, including myself... All of us are wearing collars..."
(Upset, but calm.) "Right now, I'm seeing the worst outcome in my head. This is just an uncertain line of logic. An imperfect hole of the kidnappers' design. If all my guesses are correct, it's over. Please..! Let me be wrong..!!"
(In denial, tearfully) "Joe... Please... respond... Open your eyes... Ryoko... your parents... You need to go home to them, don't you...? Let's go... to school together... with Ryoko..."
Pronunciation: Joe Tah-zoo-nah
Jou Tazuna, better known as Joe, is the protagonist's best friend. He is the second person the player meets and is introduced to. The player plays as Joe during the first trial, where they have to work to save Sara.
Joe should have a medium tone voice. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
For Jou, I imagine a voice similar to Kiibo from Danganronpa v3, but only pitch wise. I want him to sound a little airheaded, and maybe a little goofy.
(Friendly) "Whatcha doin', Sara?"
(A little whiny) "You stuck around this late for clubs?! I was gonna wither up from waiting!"
(Teasingly) "Could you be the Sara who's a terrible swimmer?" "My bad, my bad! Hahaha!"
(Surprised) "Huh?! Police?!"
(Unsteady) "Haha... Ha.... Well... what to say... Guys... Sorry... for tricking you..."
(Sad, but trying to be positive) "Sara, you didn't vote for me... That's what made it clear. All of you guys... are my friends. So... work together and do your best. Last... There's something I wanna say. Sure enough... It's hard for a guy and a girl to say this sorta stuff to eachother, huh...? I love ya' Sara! You're my best friend!!"
Pronunciation: Kai-jee Shi-no-gee
Keiji Shinogi, also going by Mr. Policeman to himself and others, acts at the deuteragonist of the story. He is supportive to Sara, and plays a key role in trying to solve the mysteries of their entrapment. Although he has a joking side, Keiji can get very serious, very quickly.
For Keiji's voice, I imagine a mid to low, friendly voice. I need a voice that can go from a goofy joke, to serious quickly.
Using a Danganronpa character for reference, a voice similar to Rantaro Amami from v3 is what I'm thinking of. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Cooly) "How about we give introductions? Should ease the suspicion a little, at least."
(Calmly) "Huh, did I not introduce myself? My name's Keiji Shinogi. Workin' as a policeman."
(Lighthearted) "You got it. So don't trouble your friendly policeman... Well... Not that I'm really that sort of cop."
(A little more serious) "I got abducted in the middle of an investigation. It was tough to find a chance to spill it."
(Serious, concerned.) "Just stop, Sara. It's enough..."
(Serious, to grave.) "Well shucks... You too, huh, Sara? ...You can't... acknowledge the hallucinations. Once they're burned into your brain...
...Don't end up like Mr. Policeman."
Pronunciation: So Hee-yo-ree
Sou Hiyori calls himself a job hopper. In the beginning, Sou acts polite and respectful towards everybody. As time passes, though, he gets stranger, and more troublesome. His relationships with the others faded away, except for Kanna Kizuchi, who he eventually put his trust into.
In my opinon, Sou should have a medium pitch voice.
Using a Danganronpa character for reference, a voice similar to Nagito Komaeda, without being as raspy, is what I'm thinking of. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Unsure) "H...Hey now... Fighting's no good."
(Neutral) "Ah... I should introduce myself soon too, huh. My name's Sou Hiyori. Err... well, just a job hopper. Ahaha..."
(Uncertain)"Ahaha.... C-Come on now... Don't look at me so pitifully."
(Grim) "Miss Sara, what are you going to do with that..?"
(Twisted, evil) "Ahahahaha! Amazing, miss Sara. You're a prodigy at seizing people's hearts! Shameful, the rest of you. The riffraff. Don't you value your lives? Don't you doubt when others are kind? Do you not even have brains to think for yourself? Death is just a matter of time for you! That's the way weaklings live! Hahahaha!"
(Concerned) "The Main Game...! That's right! Before the Main Game I need to... I need to check the data on the laptop...! But the password... umm... W-Wait, what do you mean, Keiji? It's... over? All of it...? W-Who died..? Who..? Who isn't here?! Nao...? Or else... Was it Kai...? It can't be... Joe...?! Miss Sara, that can't be it, right?! Joe... Joe died?! Why?!"
Pronunciation: Jin Ee-boo-she
Gin Ibushi is the youngest participant in the death game, being 12 years old. He is one of the last of the group to introduce himself, and once he realizes that Sara and Joe aren't threats, he starts to call them 'big sis' and 'big bro' respectively. Those aren't the only people he likes to call 'big sis' or 'big bro.'
In my opinon, Gin should have a medium-high voice, that actually sounds like a 12 year old, but still matches his appearance.
Using a Danganronpa character for reference, Gin should have voice like Masaru Daimon from Ultra Despair Girls.
(Suspicious) "Myeow so? Mom tells me not to give personal info to strange guys I don't know, woof!"
(Annoyed) "Fine, I can read the room, woof! It's, you know, the mature response, meow! My name is Gin Ibushi, woof! I'm a 6th grader, meow!"
(Flatly) "Ehh...? You're a school teacher, woof? The world's going to the dogs, meow."
(Unsure, but happy.) "...Can I believe that, meow? I'll only trust you, big sis Sara! Woof!"
(Determined) "Big sis Sara! Stay with us, meow!! Big bro Joe isn't here! Don't give attention to anything weird, woof!"
(Happy) "I'm glad you woke up, meow!"
Pronunciation: Kah-nah Kee-zoo-chi
Kanna Kizuchi is the second youngest one in the group, clocking in at 14 years old. While she does often refer to herself in first person, she is also known to talk in third person instead,
In my opinon, Kanna should have a medium-high on the higher range voice.
Using a Danganronpa character for reference, Kanna's voice should be similar to Chiaki Nanami, but not the same. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Tearfully) "Sniff... T-Thank you very much..."
(Hesitantly) "I'll say... I'm Kanna Kizuchi."
(Upset, slowly) "After... I came here...my... sister... my sister...aaahhh.... AAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!! SHE'S DEAD! My sister! Why?! How?! It's my fault!! My sister!! WAAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
(Sadly) "I'm... Sorry... Please don't be nice to me anymore..."
(Unsure, but trying to be confident) "Um! Can you let Kanna handle it? I'll try to find the truth behind Sou's thinking..! I'm sure he'll be less wary with me than the rest of you...!"
(Calm, with a hint of sadness) "I have to say... I'd be glad if Sara were left out. My reason... umm.... Because you're the one I want to live the most. No matter what."
Pronunciation: Kay Taro Burgerberg
Q-Taro Burgerberg is a baseball player. Naturally, he is the largest of the group. Q-Taro is one of the first people to introduce himself, without needing to be willed by any other participants. Although his nature suggests the opposite, Q-Taro is logical, even if shown to be selfish.
In my opinon, Q-Taro should have a medium-low on the lower side ranged voice. I want him to sound like a 'friendly giant' sort of character.
Using a Danganronpa character for reference, Q-Taro's voice could sound like a mix of Yasuhiro Hagakure and Kaito Momota, tone-wise. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Concerned) "What's goin' on...? Feels like we're wrapped up in somethin' outrageous."
(Energetically) "Q-Taro Burgerberg! I'm a baseball player! Second string, though!"
(Confident) "193 centimeters! And strong to boot, y'hear!"
"Yeah, I'm a ballplayer, but if ya work out too much and hurt 'cherself, you'll never hit the big leagues."
(Concerned) "H-Hey, all that... Tha's just a strong possibility, right...?!"
(Angry, regretful, to Joe) "You... 'cause of us, you...you...! Don't you feel bitter?"
Pronunciation: Ray-ko Yah-boo-sah-may
Reko Yabusame is a celebrity, who plays bongos and sings for her band. As stated by her brother, Alice, Reko is, "Kind to the weak, but harsh on the strong."
Reko should have a mid-low voice.

(Angry) "Graaah!! We've been abducted! By some crazy assholes!"
(Annoyed) "...Name's Reko Yabusame. I'm a singer-songwriter,"
(Annoyed) "Dude, is now the time?"
(Normal) "Just like the gaudy guy said, my band's made enough of a name to get into magazines."
(Frantic) "You dumbass! Bro!! Don't die on me!! Open your eyes bro! It's me, it's Reko!! I'm... Alive!!"
(Determined) "No... Sure enough, I can't forget Alice. I don't have too many memories with him. If I lost the bad memories, there'd be hardly anything left. So... I don't wanna forget even a shred."

Alice Yabusame, originally going by the alias of Gonbee Yamada is a murderer. He is Reko Yabusame's older brother. Alice deeply cares for his sister, which is shown through his words and actions towards her.
Alice should have a low voice.
Using a Danganronpa character for reference, Alice should have a sound like Gundham Tanaka. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Annoyed) "Hmph, such an annoying bunch... You all, plus this 'Nao,' makes everyone, right?"
(Confident) "...Remove these ropes. So long as you don't want me to crush you."
(Confident, to unsure.) "I am... Go-Gonbee Yamada... Call me Gonbee."
(Dark) "...I heard the sounds of a gunfight. My ears caught it. 9 gunshots... As many as 9 people... died..! I waited for the shots to cease, and opened the door to see the situation. And there she stood!! The killer, wielding a gun!! Sara Chidouin, it was you!"
(Worried) "What is this? Why is Reko in this state?! Wake her up! Nao!! Sara!! Won't you explain?!"
(Yelling) "Give her back... GIVE REKO BAAAAAAAAAACK!!!! I'll kill you!!!! You're DEAD!!"
Pronunciation: Kah-zoo-mi Mee-shi-mah
Kazumi Mishima is a professor, teaching Japanese and art at a local high school. One of his students, Nao Egokoro, attended the death game along with him. According to Nao, Mishima was an amazing professor, who always tried to help his students as much as he could with a smile.
Mishima should have a medium-high voice.
No Danganronpa character has a voice for what I'm imagining for Mishima. He should have a mad scientist feel, but also be able to show concern. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Intriuged) "Stupendous! A level-headed child who does as his parents teach him! Yet, this is indeed an emergency... Hrmm."
(Energetic) "Hello, I am Kazumi Mishima. I teach at a certain high school.... Mwahaha..."
(Neutral) "Incidentally, I teach Japanese and art... Mwaha..."
(Calmly) "Pardon... You see, she is a former student of mine. Please forgive her..."
(Calm) "You look pale, Miss Nao." "Exams are a ways away yet. And I'm sure you'll be fine, Miss Nao."
(Gently, encouragingly.) "To tell the truth, I failed my college exams. I had grades as good as anyone's... And a more or less serious lifestyle... I put in perfectly good effort...At least I believed so. However, where some will pass, some will fail. There's nothing that can be done about it. And, being more conceited than the average person... I lashed out at everything. However, people can always improve themselves. Well, in my case, it was time. It required an above average amount of time... But I regained the courage to face forward. Though I failed, I gained happiness. The dream I had pictured did not come to pass, but the reality I found was much like a dream. There's nothing to fear in failure. A person's life does not end there. As long as you live on, happiness will surely come to you!"

Nao Egokoro is an ex-student of Kazumi Mishima. They're shown to have a strong bond, and to trust eachother the most out of everyone. Nao is compassionate and kind to most people, but can still be a little cold to some others.
Nao should have a medium high ranged voice. She should sound kind, but also be able to sound shrill.
Aoi Asahina can be used as a decent example for a Nao voice. However, I'd like something a very small bit lower, and more mature sounding. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Shrill, angry) "You truly don't have any right to say that! Apologize to the professor, please!"
(Quickly, worriedly) "I'll introduce myself! There's nothing guilty about us! I-I'm a former student of Professor Mishima's! Currently at an art college! My name is Nao Egokoro! It's thanks to Professor Mishima that I attend an art college now!"
(Worried) "The professor's a good person! Please believe me! Saraaaaa!"
(Neutral) "Sorry... It's the same story as the professor's. I lost consciousness in the car at a security checkpoint..."
(In shock, denial) "Professor... Professor... This is... Just a lie, right? Professor... Please.... Please get up... You can't do this, everyone's worried... Professor?"
(Empty, realizing her mentor is gone.) "...That's right... Of course... I kept questioning him... In the dark... But the professor... Didn't say a word... No matter how busy he was, the professor I knew... Always answered my questions with a smile..."
Pronunciation: Kai Sah-to
Kai Satou is "a rather unremarkable homemaker." According to himself. As soon as Kai is introduced to the protagonist, Sara states that Kai seems familliar in some way, but eventually after more conversation says that she would have remembered somebody so strange.
Kai should have a medium voice, with a dullish, empty tone.
Using a Danganronpa character for reference, Kai Satou should have the tone of Izuru Kamakura, but smoother. I still need him to be able to show desperation and despair though. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Emptily) "Nothing for it. Well then, where shall we start?"
(Normally) "...I am Kai Satou. I'm a rather unremarkable homemaker."
(Listing off) "It's a frying pan... and a ladle... and a spatula."
(Neutral) "Hm... My best meal is Eggs Benedict."
(Afraid, trying to stay calm) "When we came to the subject of designs... I realized I was in danger. I thought I might play dumb... But it was clear I would be the most voted simply due to my lack of trust. Yet... yet... I... I do not wish... to die..."
(Determined) "Unfortunately, I will not let you do as you wish. I will issue... My own death." "Miss Sara... can you hear me? Listen to me! Sara!! This is... resistance. Our lives toyed with to our enemy's whims, we are unable to save even a single person... As we die off, this is... my feeble... resistance. But it is one large step... towards counterattack...!"
Pronunciation: Soo Mi-lee
Sue Miley is the laughing doll. She is the floormaster for floor 1 and 2, both found in Chapter 1. She hosts the second trial and the first main game. Sadistic in nature, Miley enjoys bloodshed and despair.
Miley should have a mid toned voice. She should sound somewhat like a stereotypical buisnesswoman. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Neutral, with a hint of sadism.) "It's not poison gas, everyone, so, please relax. Ahaha. Good day. Heeheehee... Yes, I am the doll that you just rescued. Advanced, am I not? Ahaha. As it, happens, I have revived to tell you what is happening, and support you through the trials and tribulations to come."
(Calm, slightly sadistic) "Heehee. My name is Sue Miley, the laughing doll. I am the doll who will guide you on this floor. Ehee. My master has instructed me to guide you brave souls, who have already overcome several trials, to the main game."
(Sadistic) "Eheehee... Everyone... How are you feeling? Allow me to thank you, truly, for taking part in the main game."
(Sadistic) "Yes, yes, it's over already. Eheehee. Kai Satou, chosen by vote, will be the main event. Whereas you're the opening act. Hurry up and die. Come, wrigglers!"
Pronunciation: Ree-oh Rayn-jer
Rio Ranger, the dress up doll, is the floormaster for floor 3, and chapter 2. Rio, like Miley, is sadistic, as he himself said, "quote". However, unlike Miley, he likes to tease and joke around.
Rio Ranger's voice should have a large range, as it can change very quickly. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Teasingly) "Hey, don't get mad! Everybody seems pretty pleased with it, dont'cha think?"
(Confidently) "I'm the dressup doll, Rio Ranger!"
(Sadistic) "...Ahah. Sure enough... You recognized this clip...? It feels good, y'know... Feels like it's full of the dead's regrets..."
(Sadistic) "Whew... You bastards got any right to condemn me? This topic's donezo! Now everybody come see what's past these monitors!"
Pronunciation: Tee-uh Sah-fah-lin
Tia Safalin is the co-floormaster of chapter 2. She's shy, and nervous at a first glance, but any conversation deeper than just that, shows her own insane side. For example, as she suggests Sara use the hallucination machine.
Tia should have a high pitched voice. Her sadistic side should be on the higher scale of medium high. Please make it sound as natural as you can. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Nervous, but annoyed) "Aah, ooh, aah..! Who was it?! Who went and started up the Mishima AI?!"
(Unsure) "Good to meet you everyoneeee... I am the Vice Floor Master, the crying doll, Tia Safalin..."
(Concerned, into slightly sadistic) "One of the purposes these dolls were made for... is as mental relief. A precious person you can no longer meet... You can talk to them, or have them beside you..."
(Sadistic, pretending to be helpful) "Please be honest, Miss Sara. You need salvation. You have regrets. If you desired it, you could have joined hands with Joe and escaped this place together. You gave that up, and killed Joe. And you mourn that fact. Facing Jou Tazuna... That is your only path forward."

Gashu Satou is the calmest of all the dolls. He sells prizes at the prize exchange, which can be bought with tokens. Later on, however, he takes over as chapter 2's floormaster. Gashu also hosts the second main game, which is co-run by Safalin.
Gashu should have the kind of voice you would find in an old television commercial, or the stereotypical auctioneer voice, except slower, and with less emotion. Feel free to put your own spin on it, though!
(Neutral) "This is the prize exchange. Please inform me if you have buisness."
(Neutral) "I am a receptionist doll here to support you in your time living on the third floor. I can trade and explain the prizes."
(Empty) "Why do you think you were the most human of the dolls I created? It was jealousy. I implanted in your emotion program an excessive sense of inferiority toward and hatred of humans. With a complex you could never overcome, you burned with deep jealousy... And truly qualified as 'human.'"
(Neutral) "It is not a lie. This is the truth you sought out. An internal explosion was used to make a physical lid."
