Honeyed (Sims 2 VO Series)
Project Overview
Hello!
My series Honeyed follows a group of young adults all meeting and slowly realizing they are all connected. Strange things start happening to everyone (near death experiences, objects not working, things breaking around them) when Lottie starts working at the cafe with them. There's a serious tone but a lot of comedy fills the script to make it light hearted and fun.
Each episode will be around 20 - 30 minute mark, around 10 episodes for first season. First one is a little under as it's mostly setting the tone, introducing everyone. If you find there's not a lot of lines in the first episode, it'll definitely increase.
This series is heavily LGBTQ+! Do not audition if you are homophobic :( that'd just be silly.
It is just me working on this project, filming, writing, editing. It may take a while before each episode comes out. I will keep in contact with you where I'm at throughout. But just be aware there may be gaps between episode.
Requirements:
Have clear recordings without background noise
Show emotion, try each line with something more. I will try and do my best at describing the way each line should be read. If you have any questions, please ask
Do at least 3 attempts at each line.
Improv is more than welcome. If you think something fits, go for it! I am writing this on my own, I would love to get input and a fresh line thats not from my noggin.

Isla is Milo's Sister.
Isla is currently studying Law out of feeling like she should be doing something. She is a very proud person. She stands up for what's wrong, sometimes in a way that others might find too loud and abrasive.She spends a lot of her time "studying" at the cafe. It's like her safe space.

(Banter with her brother, Milo) Okayy, you still live at home and you're basically 30

Lottie has just moved into town, starting her new job at the cafe with everyone. She's coming from a toxic household. She's always been independent. She is assertive and knows how to carry herself. Because of her past, she is very cautious about getting close to people.

(Confused/genuine) Do I know you? I feel like we’ve met
(Annoyed, sarcastic) Oh of course, that's fine, go right ahead

Milo is Isla's brother. He has been working at the cafe for 4 years, since he was 17. He dropped out of Uni after realising it wasn't for him. He is quite content working at the cafe, and working on music on his days off (and gaming with Kila) He is very protective of Isla, and in fact of everyone he cares for. He has a tendency to put others before himself.
(Smart-ass) I just think maybe common sense, no?
(Genuine) I’m just having a drink I enjoy. Can a man not enjoy things anymore
(Out of breath, frazzled) Hey, you good?

Luka owns the cafe He has been through a lot over the past years and it's taken a lot to get this cafe running. He's been wronged in the past, and yet he holds no resentment. He just wants to keep the peace and look after the crew. He is a very soft, caring soul. But also doesn't take bullshit if it's towards anyone else.

Kila has been working at the cafe since they were 15. They have known Luka since they were a baby. Luka is like a father figure in Kila's life. Kila is a very strong personality. They tattoo as their main gig, and are slowly transitioning out of the cafe. In their downtime, it's gamin time
(Funny,) Well, you’ve been here all day so I’m not sure how you havent noticed
(Blunt, over it) A shithead. Just some shit that would make it harder for small businesses
(genuine) Okay. So it actually is fine. Isla, if we want you to move, I will tell you.

James lives at home in a mostly fucked up situation. He keeps to himself, studies as his father expects of him. He doesn't have a lot to live for and it weighs on him. The pressure is building and he's almost at his breaking point. Him meeting Milo is what finally breaks the pattern.

James' dad. He is an evil guy you know. He is cold and distant with his family and only cares about his image.

Age:46 James' Mother. She is only there for the money. She cared when James was first born, and then it felt easier for her to detach and stop caring about anything. Now she spends most of her time by the pool, listening to true crime, day drinking.

The baker at the cafe, on rotations with Luka. Always there in the early mornings. He sometimes games with Milo and Kila. Very kind and witty

This is just a general role for many supporting parts! I’ll list a few examples below and just say what vibe you’re going for in your audition. There’s an eldery lady role, she regularly flirts with Milo when she orders her morning coffee. There will be lines for other various customers at the cafe. There will be nurse lines, caring soft and also nurses that are over it and rude. There’s Kilas mum who will be making a small role. And many more im sure. The voice lines ill put are jut random that i think would fit in the story
