VAs for a 2-3 minute 2D animated thesis film (PAID, student budget)
Premise
"Your Turn" follows a 2v2 street dance battle where dancers each have their own special effects flair! When a newcomer gets pitted against a veteran waacker, she panickily locks herself inside the music. Entranced by this abstract realm that brings the beats to life, she remembers why she dances in the first place.
Auditions
Haohao: 1-2 lines, voice foley ($25 flat rate)
MC: 5-6 lines ($50 flat rate)
Requirements
Must have professional recording equipment and audio quality
Record 2 takes per line when reading audition lines. Please keep your audition on a single file with .mp3 or .wav format. Take pauses between each line
Needs to be available to record lines between September 26 to October 3
Needs to be available to do possible retakes, in case of script changes
Please provide contact details (email or discord) and your socials in the description. I will reach out to successful applicants with a full script and animatic, so that you can get a fuller idea of the project.
Payment
Must be able to receive payment through Venmo or Zelle
Half paid in advance, second half paid once rough animation is complete (December 2025).

Because Haohao is a fun, energetic dancer well known in the locking community, Yin (the newcomer) feels confident entering the dance battle with him. But, Haohao wants to help Yin grow confident in dancing on her own :)
