World of Craziness: It's Good to be Bad!

World of Craziness: It's Good to be Bad!

Project Overview

Hey everyone,

Welcome to the third and final major casting call for our World of Craziness project!

You may have seen our earlier casting calls for the main cast and supporting characters—now it’s time for the troublemakers. World of Craziness: It’s Good to be Bad! spotlights the rivals, schemers, and pint-sized menaces who bring chaos, conflict, and destruction to Addersfield.

About the Series

World of Craziness follows Remy Rosenberg, a 12-year-old newcomer adjusting to life in Addersfield, Colorado. Feeling out of place, he stumbles into a massive group of wildly different kids—each with their quirks, dreams, and problems. Together, they learn that friendship can come from the most unexpected places, even amid the everyday chaos of growing up.

About This Casting Call

This round focuses on villains, rivals, and recurring antagonists—the characters who make life difficult for Remy and his friends.

A few notes before you audition:

  • Most villains are kids, just like the heroes.

  • We’re not strictly looking for “kid voices.” Some roles need them, others can skew older—just keep a youthful spark.

  • Each role includes voice inspirations. These are suggestions, not requirements—surprise us.

  • We offer scene packs / short sequences to help you bring the characters to life.

  • We also have a handful of extras roles available.

  • Please aim for decent mic quality and minimal background noise—we want to hear you clearly.

Story placement note: Some villains are prominent early on, while others won’t show up until much later in the story. We currently have a select number of scripts and storyboards, and we’re looking for voice talent to help us carve the path forward. This project is still evolving—some concepts may change as we develop, and new ideas may appear along the way.

Tone & Rating

We envision World of Craziness as a firm TV-PG series. Expect:

  • mild coarse/crude language

  • occasional suggestive dialogue/themes

  • intense or frightening situations

  • moderate cartoon violence

While the world is bright, colorful, and vibrant, the story can absolutely dip into darker subject matter when the narrative calls for it.

If you have any questions about the show’s content or themes—please ask!

Compensation

Payment is negotiable and sent via PayPal. If you charge per line, per word, or per project, we’re happy to discuss rates so your time is respected.

Submitting Lines

If cast, we accept line submissions through Discord, Google Drive, or email—whatever is easiest for you.

Timeline

The full series schedule is still in development, but anyone cast in this round will have the opportunity to reprise their role once production begins.

Important Notice

Only submit the provided audition lines.
Submissions that do not include the audition lines will be dismissed.

Most importantly: have fun with it. These villains are stylish, chaotic, and ready to wreck havoc—and we want to hear your take.

We can’t wait to hear what you bring to Addersfield’s baddest kids.

this hallway? It’s mine. So let’s try that again, but this time—walk where I tell you.

  • [Confronted by Valerie] (Justin lounges back as Valerie drops a thick stack of photos onto the table.) (“These landed on my desk this morning, big guy. Nasty work. The kind that makes coffee taste bitter.”) (Justin tilts his head, mildly intrigued.) Hm. Interesting. (He calmly slips on his glasses, lifting the photos one by one.) See this? (flips a photo) Sloppy. (Another.) And this one? (exhales) Amateur hour. (“Funny thing about amateurs, Riker
they always leave a mess.”) (Justin sets the photos down neatly.) I train my people personally. I know their habits. Their tells. Their breaking points. This? (taps a photo) This isn’t any of mine. (“You expect me to swallow that? This kind of brutality doesn’t just fall outta the sky.”) (Justin removes his glasses slowly, annoyed but controlled.) What annoys me
is you thinking I’d sign my name to something this clumsy. (He rises, towering over her.) Whoever did this doesn’t answer to me. (Cold.) And that makes them reckless.

  • [Crime lord meeting] (Justin stands at the head of the room.) Alright. (Claps once.) This little meeting about Remy? It’s over. We’ll see how long he lasts. (Straightens, voice firm but polite.) I appreciate you all taking the time. Truly. But let’s remember something before you head out. (Looks around.) This is still MY school. (Beat.) Do your thing. Build your empires. (Smile fades.) Just don’t forget where you stand.

Leyla doesn’t even look at her.) Charming dĂ©cor, by the way. (Brightens instantly.) Now—where is Iris? I was promised she’d attend.

Theo Rosy is an academic prodigy with a fixation on perfection and discipline, determined to “fix” the chaotic world of Addersfield through logic and law. But when his genius turns obsessive, his drive for order spirals into egomania—transforming him from star student to self-proclaimed mastermind.

My name is Theodore Rosy—top marks in every academic category, national robotics finalist, junior mathematics laureate, and recipient of the Everbright Scholarship for Exceptional Promise. I look forward to elevating the standard of excellence here at Addersfield School

  • [Witnessing the chaotic hallway]
Unacceptable. Absolutely unacceptable. Disorder in every direction—students running amok, no structure, no discipline, no EFFICIENCY. How does this school function?! Someone needs to intervene before the entire institution collapses into barbarism
and evidently, that someone will have to be me.

  • [Presenting to Alpha Sentinel Commander Louis Beckford] Commander Beckford, allow me to introduce my latest prototype: The Enforcer Bot! (Gestures.) Equipped with state-of-the-art surveillance, biometric threat assessment, and automated disciplinary response systems. It identifies offenders before rules are even broken. No bias. No hesitation. • Auditioners are encouraged to experiment with analog-style distortion, static, glitching, or layered effects in their recordings. If you’re unable to add effects, don’t worry—submit a clean take.

  • [Broadcast Interference] (Distorted static crackles through the intercom as screens flicker across the school—phones, TVs, laptops—all hijacked.) Attention, students
your daily programming has been interrupted for a special announcement.

  • [Broadcast Monologue] Heroes. That’s what you call them, isn’t it? Your shining defenders of Addersfield—Valerie
and her little collection of so-called friends. You lift them up. Put them on pedestals. Clap when they ‘win.’ But tell me—have you actually looked at what they leave behind? Every ‘victory’ they claim leaves behind more ruin than the monsters they fight. They break things, they hurt people, and then they smile for the cameras while the rest of you clean up their mess. No one holds them accountable
but that ends tonight. Valerie Santos, your spotlight’s about to shatter. Tune in, my little audience—because the real show starts now.

  • [Hallway sequence] Let’s play a game. (Pause. Lights flicker.) Lights out. (A low laugh echoes as the lights snap off. Footsteps approach, slow and deliberate.) You hear that? (Pause.) That’s your heart. (A spark flashes—then darkness again.) I see you. (Whispered, overlapping.) I always see you.

congratulations, you’ve peaked for the day. (Sharper.) Clear out!

  • [Noticing a pattern] (Adrian watches the latest destruction from an office vantage. He’s holding a glass of apple juice like it’s scotch.) Dana
am I losing my mind, or has property damage doubled in the past few weeks? (“One moment.”) (Tablet taps.) (“Vandalism incidents: up 36%. Structural damage: up 48%. Violent altercations: up 31%.”) (Adrian stares, jaw tight.)
Hm. (Quiet.) So it’s not my imagination. (He rubs his temple, thinking.) Something’s off. Chaos doesn’t spike like this without a catalyst. (Turns to Dana.) Pull student records. I want exact dates—when the activity spikes, where it spikes, and who’s present when it happens. Every incident leaves a footprint. Find me the pattern.

(“You’ve gotta be kidding me. We’re already understaffed.”) I assumed you’d say that. (Typing.) I’ll re-route the nearest patrol to triage the smaller one and send medics to the other.

  • [Phone call — first sighting of Vicky] Sir, I need you to listen carefully. There’s a potential major threat—not just to the school, but to the town. (“Go..”) There’s an unknown student. And she appears to be using
magic. (“Magic.”) Yes. I know how it sounds. I’m telling you what I saw. If this is real, structural damage is about to go through the roof. (“Fantastic. (Sighs.) Any identifiers?”) There was another girl with her—looked like she was against her. She used some kind of charm—briefly repelled the attacker. Like a protective ward. (“I see.
