[hallway control] (Relaxed, almost friendly. He’s blocking someone’s path.) Hey—relax. Nobody’s in trouble. I just need you to understand something real quick… this hallway? It’s mine. So let’s try that again, but this time—walk where I tell you.
[Confronted by Valerie] (Justin lounges back as Valerie drops a thick stack of photos onto the table.) (“These landed on my desk this morning, big guy. Nasty work. The kind that makes coffee taste bitter.”) (Justin tilts his head, mildly intrigued.) Hm. Interesting. (He calmly slips on his glasses, lifting the photos one by one.) See this? (flips a photo) Sloppy. (Another.) And this one? (exhales) Amateur hour. (“Funny thing about amateurs, Riker… they always leave a mess.”) (Justin sets the photos down neatly.) I train my people personally. I know their habits. Their tells. Their breaking points. This? (taps a photo) This isn’t any of mine. (“You expect me to swallow that? This kind of brutality doesn’t just fall outta the sky.”) (Justin removes his glasses slowly, annoyed but controlled.) What annoys me… is you thinking I’d sign my name to something this clumsy. (He rises, towering over her.) Whoever did this doesn’t answer to me. (Cold.) And that makes them reckless.
[Crime lord meeting] (Justin stands at the head of the room.) Alright. (Claps once.) This little meeting about Remy? It’s over. We’ll see how long he lasts. (Straightens, voice firm but polite.) I appreciate you all taking the time. Truly. But let’s remember something before you head out. (Looks around.) This is still MY school. (Beat.) Do your thing. Build your empires. (Smile fades.) Just don’t forget where you stand.
